PRINCESS PARADE

The Princess Parade at The Great Allentown Fair is a beloved tradition where little girls dress as their favorite princesses and parade through the fairgrounds, creating a magical experience for families and fairgoers.

A new Fair Queen will be crowned on opening night and will take part in the parade, greeting the young participants and adding a royal touch to the celebration—just as last year’s queen, Zoie Jones, did.

This heartwarming event is a highlight for families and reflects the fair’s commitment to youth, imagination, and community fun. Participants can register on site the day of the event.

Get ready to let those locks loose! 95.1 WZZO’s First Annual Mullet Contest is making its glorious debut at the 2025 Great Allentown Fair and it’s time to celebrate the most iconic hairstyle in history. “Business in the front, party in the back!” Hosted by Joel and Keith of 95.1 WZZO, this hair-raising competition invites mullet enthusiasts of all ages to flaunt their fabulous follicles in a head-turning showdown of style, swagger, and supreme strands, to see who wins the coveted “BEST IN GROW” Award.

The Fries Rebellion Screening

A film about delf-discovery and political protest in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. In anticipation of America 250 celebrations to be held nationwide in 2026, The Lower Macungie Township Historical Society has partnered with award-winning movie production companies, In the Wee hours and ubiFire Video Productions, to produce an exciting film about the Fries Rebellion, a violent insurrection that occurred in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley between 1798-99. This award-winning film has won 15 international awards.
