Martin H. Ritter, former president of society operating Allentown Fair, Fairgrounds dies. The Lehigh County Agricultural Society (LCAS), the nonprofit owner and operator of the Allentown Fairgrounds and the Great Allentown Fair, mourns the loss of its President Emeritus Martin H. Ritter who died today (May 13, 2008) at age 99. Fairgrounds Grandstand named in his honor.
Subject:Allentown Brew Works to host pushPLAY kick-off 'Launch party' at downtown establishment starts countdown to original music contest finals at Allentown Fair. The Allentown Brew Works will host a kick off party for pushPLAY, an original music competition to promote regional artists, on Thursday, May 22 at 8 p.m. in the Silk Lounge. The event launches the summer long search for finalists that will perform at The Great Allentown Fair.
